We make our soap bars by hand in Manitoba, Canada, using thoughtfully selected ingredients, including natural oils and butters. Each bar is wrapped in a biodegradable, plantable seed-paper label that gives the packaging a second life.

What Is a Plantable Soap Label?

Our plantable soap labels are made from biodegradable seed paper embedded with wildflower seeds. When you plant the label, the paper decomposes in the soil, leaving the seeds behind to grow.

Each label contains the same wildflower seed blend, regardless of the soap scent. What comes up to bloom is part of the surprise!

Which Wildflowers Can Grow From Your Soap Label?

The seed-paper blend may contain the following wildflower seeds:

• Bird’s Eye

• Clarkia

• Black Eyed Susan

• Sweet Alyssum

• Catchfly

• Snapdragon

Where Can You Plant Your Soap Label?

You can plant your SOAK Bath Co soap label in:

• A pot indoors in a sunny spot

• A container on your patio or balcony

• An outdoor flower bed or garden

Plant the label as one piece or cut it into smaller pieces to spread throughout your planting area.

How to Plant Your Soap Label

Follow these simple steps to give your wildflower seeds a good start.

1. Prepare your planting area. Fill a container with potting mix or prepare a patch of soil in your garden.

2. Place the label on the soil. Cut your label into smaller pieces if you’d like to distribute the seeds more evenly.

3. Water the label and soil. Moisten both until they are damp.

4. Cover with a thin layer of soil. Add approximately 1/8 inch of soil over the label pieces.

5. Water gently again. Moisten the top layer without washing the soil away.

6. Give your seeds sunlight and moisture. Choose a sunny spot and keep the soil consistently damp during germination. Continue watering as your wildflowers grow.
